Does completing the free assessment mean I’ve applied for membership?
No. Anyone is welcome to complete the Gayquation Assessment for free. The assessment and your Optima insights can help you better understand your dating market and relationship search, but they are only one part of the membership application process. If you decide to pursue membership, the broader process also includes a consultation, application information, and Gayquation’s internal review and approval.
What is the Overall Optima Score?
It is the high-level summary of your current Optima analysis. It is designed to make the larger relationship-search picture easier to understand at a glance while the individual metrics explain the factors underneath it.
What is the Market Potential Index (MPI)?
MPI reflects the potential strength of your specific dating market based on your profile, preferences, geography, relationship goals, and available opportunity. It is different from Market Size because a larger pool is not automatically a better-fit pool.
How is Market Size different from MPI?
Market Size focuses on the estimated breadth of the viable pool after practical filters and dealbreakers. MPI looks more broadly at how favorable that market appears for your particular relationship search.
What does Engagement Velocity (EV) tell me?
EV is intended to give context around the pace at which meaningful opportunities and engagement are emerging. It can help distinguish a search that may simply need more time from one where additional strategy review could be useful.

Does a high Optima Score guarantee a relationship?
