How does Gayquation.com work?
Gayquation is an online dating service. We are not matchmakers in the sense that we are not strictly matching men up for love. We provide you matches for the type of relationship you are looking for, whether it's for romance or a casual encounter. We are also not a personals site, as we do all the work. No scrolling through ads, no sifting through emails. It is easy to use and fun! Simply, register and create a date profile and start meeting people tomorrow!

How long does it take for me to receive my match?
On average, matches are provided within 7 days. It also depends on what membership you choose. If you are a standard member (with up to 2 dates per month) you can expect a match no longer than every 2 weeks. You may receive a match in 1 day, sometimes it might take a little longer as we are searching the web for the best possible match(es). A lot depends on the criteria you seek and the type of relationship. Those seeking romance demand a narrower search, thus might take longer. However, we guarantee results by 2 weeks, no later.

What is your success rate?
We are proud to have a 99% success rate in finding you a match within our time frame of 2 weeks. 80% of matches are found within 1 week. Of those matches, we have countless number of success stories, from those seeking casual hook-ups to long-term seekers.

What happens if you do not find me a match?
We have a very good success rate in finding matches. If we do not find you a match in 2 weeks, we will refund you back that monthly membership charge.

Is your service free?
We charge a nominal monthly or flat fee depending on your membership. We are proud to be the lowest in the industry! You can also join for free if you would like to add your profile to our database. Please go to our "services" page for info on our memberships.

How do I sign in?
Go to the home page and click log in. All you have to do is enter your username and password you chose when you registered.

Can I use your site without being a member?
You can add a profile for free and possibly be selected for a date. Free members are not guaranteed matches. Click on the bottom of the homepage to add your free profile.

How do I become a member?
Simple - go to our services page, click sign up, create a profile and we take it from there. A matchmaker is then assigned to you. You will receive two email confirmations. 1) for your activated subscription and 2) when your matchmaker is assigned.

How do I change my username?
Your username cannot be altered once you have signed up for an account.

Are your potential dates screened?
We require all members are over the age of 18 with a valid e-mail to join or be matched. There is no way to do a formal background check on every member who joins. We at Gayquation.com expect you to understand that we cannot take responsibility for any pain, damage or suffering arising from your use of this site. Please use your common sense and be careful about giving out personal information to people you meet on our site. If a harassing situation arises please contact our administration immediately. So we can take further steps in tracing and banning this member from our site.

What criteria do you seek in a potential match?
We ask our members and potential matches to fill out the exact same profile. We typically look for at least a 75% match between profiles before going further. We then look for specific criteria that matches. If those also match, we qualify the candidate and send his information to our member. If we are on the fence, we also contact our members directly to get their opinion and determine if it's a go or not. Remember: we are here to work for you.

How long will it take for me to find my "one"?
Let's be honest... we are not psychics. I wish we were. Our formula is based on opening many doors for you. We do our best in finding ones that have the best chance of success. Some will not work out and we are pretty sure of that. Our goal is that many of them do and you find exactly what you're looking for. At the end of the day, it is between you and your match to make it work. Obviously, casual relationships are often easier to match than long term. Long term seekers must exercise some patience and try not jump into anything too soon. Simply, take the time and get to know each match. In time, you will find the right man or right men for what you seek. And remember, another match is waiting for you in your email box.

What are the type of men that join your site?

How do I update my profile?
Click on the "log in" button at the bottom of the website, then sign in. There you can modify your profile at anytime and view your matches. Picture updates must be sent to us directly.

How do members contact each other once a match is chosen?
We have several options to choose. You can send a message, Instant message them or call them depending on what they prefer as initial contact. We provide you with an email and/or phone number for contacting your match(es).

What if I do not like my match?
Gayquation does its best to find 2 people who are looking for the same thing and have at least 75% of their date criteria matching. However, we can not guarantee the success and chemistry of each and every date. There is no scientific formula for chemistry - if there was you wouldn't be here. Obviously, there will be matches you like and others might not work out. But don't fret, that is why we are here... to open door after door for you.

Are these blind dates?
Yes and no. It is a blind date in the sense that you have a middle man (Gayquation) setting two parties up. But it is up to the two parties whether they want to send pictures to each other, to set up a date, or take it any further than conversation or email.

Do I get to see a picture of my match?
Yes, we may send you a photo if they provide one. It is optional. Members also are not required to send us a picture. Pictures that we do receive are only used to assist in the matching process. We do not send them out to anyone, unless you request them to be on your Users’ page. Once you have received a match, the two parties may send photos to each other at that time.

Do you throw parties?
Yes. Occasionally we throw events for our members to meet and mingle. We email our members to let them know if there is an event in their area.
